INSURNET INSURANCE BROKERAGE, S.L. (INSURNET) is an associate of the WILLIS GROUP. The central offices of INSURNET are located at Vía Sindicato 69, 7th 1st 07002 - Palma de Mallorca.

Regulation / J-2071: The prior control for access to insurance mediation activity, the ordinary supervision of its exercise, and the performance of other surveillance functions over the activity of intermediaries are carried out by the General Directorate of Insurance and Pension Funds, dependent on the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The basic legislation that regulates our operation is Law 26/2006, of July 17, on Insurance Mediation.

J-2071 is the number assigned by the General Directorate of Insurance and Pension Funds to INSURNET (CIF: B62493895); to operate as an Insurance Broker.

INSURNET has professional liability insurance in accordance with article 27.1.d) of Law 26/2006 on Insurance Mediation and Reinsurance Private.

INSURNET S.L. is subject to the Authority of the General Directorate of Insurance, being registered in the Registry of the General Directorate of Insurance dependent on the Ministry of Economy and subject to their supervision and control.

2.- REGULATORY AUTHORITY

  • INSURNET is subject to the supervision and control of the General Directorate of Insurance, being registered in the special administrative register of insurance intermediaries, reinsurance brokers, and their senior officers of the General Directorate of Insurance dependent on the Ministry of Economy under number J-2071 .

3.- ADVISORY SERVICES PROVIDED

  • INSURNET is a leading independent broker, engaged in the commercial activity of private insurance and reinsurance mediation, offering, first and foremost, independent, professional, and impartial advice to its clients regarding the insurance of risks they wish to cover. In this regard, the advice provided is based on the analysis of a sufficient number of insurance contracts offered in the market for the risks to be covered. Additionally, during the validity of the insurance contracts signed with its intervention, INSURNET provides the policyholder, the insured, and the beneficiary of the insurance with the information that may be requested regarding any of the clauses of the policy in question and, in case of a claim, will also provide its advice.
  • Additionally, the Company provides consulting services in insurance and reinsurance, as well as in risk management. The services offered by INSURNET cover all general insurance and reinsurance products. INSURNET is not subject to any ties of any nature that may affect any insurance company.
  • The activity carried out by INSURNET falls within the scope of Law 26/2006, of July 17, on Insurance and Reinsurance Mediation.

INSURNET does not transfer in whole or in part, nor does it grant any license or authorization to clients regarding intellectual or industrial property rights or in any other way related to the website.

Likewise, INSURNET ensures that the contents, including those of intellectual property, are not unlawful or in violation of current regulations. Therefore, the contents of the website will not be xenophobic, pornographic, discriminatory, racist, or in any way encourage violence. In addition, INSURNET will take legal measures it deems appropriate to prevent any immoral or unlawful behavior.

EXCLUSION OF WARRANTIES AND LIABILITIES

Regarding the exclusion of warranties and liabilities, INSURNET will not be liable for:

  • Damages of any kind that may be due to the knowledge by unauthorized third parties of the type, conditions, characteristics, and circumstances of the use that clients make of the website and the products and services it offers.
  • Damages of any kind that may be due to errors in the use or access to its website, as well as in the access or use of its services, or in its content or that it is not up-to-date, although it undertakes to prevent them, update it, or remedy such content. In other words, liability is excluded for the lack of availability or continuity of the operation of the website and services, as well as for failures in accessing the different web pages or those from which the services are provided.
  • Damages of any kind that may be due to the existence of viruses in the computer system, electronic documents, or files of clients.

In relation to the limitation of liabilities, INSURNET S.L. rejects all warranties regarding the services of the website, express, implied, or mandatory, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and mandatory warranties of non-compliance protection.

DURATION AND TERMINATION

The access and use of the website have, in principle, an indefinite duration. Notwithstanding the foregoing, INSURNET reserves the right to terminate or suspend access and use of the website at any time. When this is reasonably possible, INSURNET will give prior notice of the termination or suspension of access and/or use of the website.

CUSTOMER INDEMNIFICATION

The customer expressly agrees to indemnify INSURNET, its employees, directors, agents, and information or service providers, for any damages and losses (including attorney's fees and costs) arising from the customer's breach of these general conditions or the specific conditions applicable, if any, as well as to collaborate with INSURNET in the defense of its interests in the event of any claim or initiation of any judicial or administrative proceeding for such reason. Likewise, the customer agrees to make their best efforts to prevent or, if applicable, mitigate the harmful effects and losses that may arise for INSURNET.

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

All the established conditions will be governed by Spanish Law. INSURNET and the customer, with express waiver of any jurisdiction that may correspond to them, submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the customer's domicile, for any controversy that may arise from the provision of the services subject to these general conditions. In the event that the customer has their domicile outside Spanish territory, INSURNET and the customer submit, with express waiver of any jurisdiction that may correspond to them, to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid (Spain).
